Paul Flynn - Thorp T-18

Paul, a resident of Salina, Kansas, is in the final stages of a major restoration project on his Thorp T-18.  Quite a lot of work has already been done (as of June, 2005) and Paul anticipates having it in the air within 4-6 weeks.  So far the brakes have been serviced, a Curtis oil drain valve has been installed as has a Brackett air filter, the oil has been changed, the exhaust system has been overhauled including all new exhaust studs, magneto gaskets have been replaced, and some new tail pieces have been installed.  Still in the plans are a new panel so he can add some radios, new gear leg fairings, NACA ducting for better cabin airflow, and antennas for the new avionics. "David Britting has been a great help in the project." (And that's what club membership is all about, eh?)
