Young Eagles Flights - All Schools Day - May 10, 2008

EAA Chapter 1344 was proud to again offer Young Eagles flights to kids between the ages of 8 and 17 for this event.  Farrell Perdreauville, Young Eagles Coordinator, and his Wife planned an outstanding event in which flights were given to (at our best guess) 52 people.  38 of these were kids qualifying as Young Eagles.  Flights started at 8:00 and continued to slightly after 12:00 noon.

Pilots who volunteered their airplanes, time, and fuel included:

  1. Farrell Perdreauville - Cessna 152 (McPherson)
  2. John Cooper - Citabria ( Hutchinson but airplane hangered here in McPherson)
  3. Tom Chandler - Cessna 172  (McPherson - Airport Manager)
  4. Ron Chandler - Cessna 172 (Salina)
  5. Ron Miller - Aero Commander Darter 100 (McPherson)

(I think that I got at least one photo of every group.  My apologies if I missed someone. - Tom Stinemetze)  Just click on any thumbnail for a larger photo.  As you can tell from these photographs - NOBODY had any fun. All of these photos are available for download with no Copyright required.
